smita-tharoor

Ms. Smita Tharoor is the CEO of Tharoor Associates. She is based in London and has more than 20 years of experience in the Organizational Development area focusing on diversity and inclusivity issues.

"Joining the SLE as an advisory board member has been a very rewarding experience. Discussions have been varied and challenging, yet the one thing that holds us all together is our belief that the future of India lies in our leaders who in turn will nurture and create new leaders.

The challenges facing every organisation make the role of leaders both critically important and extremely difficult, yet most leaders are given little, if any, support and development on how to lead. Growing leadership capability to deliver successful change, whilst working on live issues of the day is the crux of any successful organisation. The CEO Satsang is unusual in that it emphasizes the importance of behavioural study and how, with coaching and mentoring, we can empower our leaders merely by getting them to understand themselves better."
